The Railroadmen's Building and Savings Association was founded in Indianapolis in 1887 at the initiation of William Taylor Cannon for employees of railroads operating through the Union Station. In 1939 the name changed to Railroadmen's Federal Savings and Loan Association. It merged with other savings and loans in 1981, 1987, and 1990.
